IN RE Dustin L. BARRETT

From the County Court at Law, Val Verde County, Texas Trial Court No. 2020-0012-CCL Honorable Sergio J. Gonzalez, Judge Presiding

ORDER

PER CURIAM

Original Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2020-00012-CCL, styled In the Matter of the Marriage of Dustin Lee Barrett and Hartley Irene Barrett, pending in the County Court at Law, Val Verde County, Texas, the Honorable Sergio Gonzalez, presiding.

On October 17, 2023, Relator filed a petition for writ of mandamus. Relator argues that the trial court abused its discretion by refusing to grant judgment on a mediated settlement agreement which Relator asserts meets the Texas Family Code requirements. See In re Lee, 411 S.W.3d 445, 455 (Tex. 2013).

This court believes a serious question concerning the mandamus relief sought requires further consideration. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.8(b). Respondent and Real Party in Interest may file responses to the petition in this court by November 14, 2023. Any response must comply with Rule 52.4.

It is so ORDERED.
