The petition for review is granted. The matter is transferred to the Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division Three, with directions to vacate its August 1, 2017, order denying the petition for writ of habeas corpus, and to issue an order directing respondent to show cause before that court why petitioner is not entitled to the relief requested. (See People v. Clark (2016) 63 Cal.4th 522, 609–623; People v. Banks (2015) 61 Cal.4th 788.)
Corrigan, J., was absent and did not participate.
