Opinion

No. 05-09-00213-CV

Opinion issued April 21, 2009.

On Appeal from the 219th Judicial District Court, Collin County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. 219-53356-2008.

Before Justices BRIDGES, O'NEILL, and FITZGERALD.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

The Court has before it appellee's March 23, 2009 motion to dismiss this interlocutory appeal for want of jurisdiction. Appellant did not respond to the motion. After reviewing the record, we conclude we have no jurisdiction.

The appeal was taken from the trial court's February 15, 2009 temporary injunction order. The Texas Family Code precludes interlocutory appeals of temporary orders rendered under chapter 6, subchapter F, except for an order appointing a receiver. See Tex. Fam. Code Ann. § 6.507 (Vernon 2006); see also generally id. §§ 6.501-.506. The February 15, 2009 temporary injunction order did not appoint a receiver. Accordingly, we grant appellee's motion to dismiss.

We dismiss the appeal for want of jurisdiction.
