IN THE MATTER OF AN APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT COURT COUNCIL
ORDER
The Honorable Gregory R. Todd retired on December 31, 2022. The Honorable Jon Oldenburg will retire on July 2, 2022. Pursuant to § 3-1-1602, MCA, an election was held by the Montana Judges Association and the Honorable Jessica T. Fehr was elected to finish out the term of Judge Todd, and the Honorable Brenda Gilbert was elected to finish out the term of Judge Oldenburg on the District Court Council.
The Court thanks Judge Todd and Judge Oldenburg for their dedication to the Council, to the State, and to the people of Montana.
Now, therefore, I, Mike McGrath, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of Montana, in accordance with the results of said procedure, do hereby CERTIFY that the Honorable Jessica T. Fehr was elected to the District Court Council as a District Court Judge, Position 2 member, for a term ending June 30, 2024, and the Honorable Brenda Gilbert was elected to the District Court Council as the District Court Judge, Position 4 member, for a term ending June 30, 2023.
The Clerk is directed to provide a copy of this Order to the Montana Secretary of State for filing, the State Bar of Montana, the Honorable Gregory R. Todd, the Honorable Jon Oldenburg, the Honorable Jessica T. Fehr, the Honorable Brenda Gilbert, members of the District Court Council, and Shauna Ryan, Judicial Educator.
