IN THE INTEREST OF A.K.B., AND E.G.B., CHILDREN

On Appeal from the 310th District Court Harris County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 2017-79069

Panel Consists of Justices Bourliot, Hassan, and Poissant.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

The record before this court reflects that appellant filed a Statement of Inability to Afford Payment of Court Costs in the trial court on October 4, 2022. The court reporter, Leticia V. Salas, filed a motion to require payment of costs. See Tex. R. Civ. P. 145(e). On December 28, 2022, the trial court held a hearing on the motion and orally ordered appellant to pay costs. The trial court did not sign or enter a written order supported by detailed findings. See Tex. R. Civ. P. 145(f)(2).

A party who filed a Statement of Inability to Afford Payment of Court Costs in the trial court is not required to pay costs unless the procedural requirements provided in Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 145(f) have been satisfied. Tex.R.Civ.P. 145 (f).

Therefore, we order the trial court to prepare an order supported by detailed findings to be filed with the clerk of this court within 10 days of the date of this order.
