Howard v. Eighth Judicial Dist. Court of Nev.

COURT OF APPEALS OF THE STATE OF NEVADA
Dec 28, 2017
No. 74082 (Nev. App. Dec. 28, 2017)

Opinion

No. 74082

12-28-2017

ABDUL HOWARD, Petitioner, v. THE EIGHTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF CLARK, Respondent, and THE STATE OF NEVADA, Real Party in Interest.

ORDER DENYING PETITION

This original petition for a writ of mandamus seeks an order directing the district court to resolve a postconviction petition for a writ of mandamus that was filed by Abdul Howard in September 2015. It appears the district court entered an order denying the petition on November 15, 2017, and Howard currently has an appeal from the denial of that petition pending in Docket No. 74484. Accordingly, we conclude our intervention by way of extraordinary writ is not warranted, and we

ORDER the petition DENIED.
