TYRONE HOPKINS, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes, Judge

This case was on the Court's May 1, 2023 San Francisco, California trial calendar. It is essentially a substantiation case, and we continued it in the hope that a tax clinic would step in to represent petitioner and help him gather and turn over the documentation that he needed to produce. Pro bono counsel stepped in, and much progress has been made. The parties reasonably ask to report again early next year if they haven't settled. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before January 17, 2024 the parties shall submit decision documents or file a joint status report describing their progress.
