IN RE THE MARRIAGE OF: KELDAH ELIZABETH HEDSTROM, Petitioner and Appellee, v. CODY CLAY PETERS, Respondent and Appellant.

ORDER

This Court reviews briefs to ensure compliance with the Montana Rules of Appellate Procedure. After reviewing the Appellant's Opening Brief filed electronically on June 1, 2022, this Court has determined that the brief does not comply with the below-referenced Rules and is rejected.

Rule 13(1) requires briefs be filed within 30 days after the date on which the record is filed. Appellant received two extensions to file his Opening Brief, with a deadline of May 31, 2022. Appellant has already timely filed his Opening Brief on May 31, 2022 and neglected to include all exhibits. The June 1, 2022, filing contains the same brief previously filed, with additional exhibits. Appellant may file these additional exhibits with his Reply Brief but is not required to do so. See M. R. App. 12(5) ("Given that the court has available to it the entire record, parties are advised that a supplemental appendix is not required.").

Therefore, IT IS ORDERED that the referenced brief is rejected.

The Clerk is directed to provide a true copy of this Order to the Appellant and to all parties of record.
