NOTICE OF SECOND AMENDED CONSENT DECREE
Hedrick v. Grant, E.D. Cal. No. 2:76-cv-00162-EFB, is a federal class action about the conditions in the Yuba County Jail (“the Jail”). All current and future incarcerated people in the Jail are members of the class. This action does not seek money damages and none will be awarded.
On [DATE], the Court approved a Second Amended Consent Decree which sets forth certain requirements concerning mental health services provided in the Jail, including as they relate to housing conditions. Copies of the Second Amended Consent Decree are available in the Jail's law library. The Court will retain its jurisdiction to enforce the Second Amended Consent Decree until January 31, 2025. Plaintiffs may seek to extend the duration of the Second Amended Consent Decree if the Jail is not in compliance.
