John HARWOOD, Appellant v. Brian GILROY, Appellee

From the 73rd Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2016CI11327
Honorable Antonia Arteaga, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Sitting: Sandee Bryan Marion, Chief Justice Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice Irene Rios, Justice

This court issued its opinion on June 28, 2017, and any motion for rehearing was due on July 13, 2017. On July 13, 2017, appellee filed a motion requesting an extension of time until September 1, 2017 in which to file a motion for rehearing.

In an order dated July 18, 2017, we granted the motion in part and denied the motion in part, ordering appellee to file any motion(s) no later than August 14, 2017. Our order cautioned appellee that further requests for extensions of time were disfavored.

On August 14, 2017, appellee filed a motion requesting an extension of time until August 28, 2017, on the ground that appellee's attorney has been on vacation for twenty-four of the thirty days' extension, which we granted on July 18, 2017.

We GRANT the request and appellee is ORDERED to file any motion for rehearing no later than August 28, 2017. No further extensions of time will be considered.

Sandee Bryan Marion, Chief Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 16th day of August, 2017.

Chief Deputy Clerk
