This case is currently calendared for trial during the Court's March 18, 2024, Houston, Texas, trial session. On February 2, 2024, respondent filed a Motion for Continuance of Trial (Doc. 9). No certificate of service was attached to this Motion demonstrating that it was served on petitioner, and petitioner does not receive electronic service.

In view of the upcoming March 18, 2024, trial session, the Court will serve on petitioner respondent's Motion. The Court notes that it will strike any further papers filed without proof of service as required by Rule 21 of the Tax Court Rules of Practice and Procedure.

Upon due consideration, it is hereby

ORDERED that, on or before February 22, 2024, petitioner shall file with the Court and serve on respondent a response to respondent's Motion for Continuance of Trial filed February 2, 2024. It is further

ORDERED that, in addition to regular service, the Clerk of the Court shall serve a copy of respondent's Motion for Continuance of Trial (Doc. 9) on petitioner at his address of record.
