ORDER :
Plaintiff, proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis, commenced this action on February 26, 2020. (Doc. 2). By Order dated April 9, 2020, I ordered the Marshal's to effectuate service on eight identified Defendants. (Doc. 8). Summonses were issued on April 13, 2020. The Defendants have not yet been served. The April 9 Order instructed Plaintiff that if "the complaint is not served within [90 days], Plaintiff should request an extension of time for service." (Id. at 2 (citing Meilleur v. Strong, 682 F.3d 56, 63 (2d Cir. 2012))). The 90-day time limit has expired, and no request has been filed. Therefore, within thirty days Plaintiff shall request an extension of time for the Marshals to effectuate service on the identified Defendants.
Additionally, the April 9 Order directed the New York State Attorney General to identify "(1) the sergeant at Downstate whose first name is Bill, and who assisted in escorting Plaintiff to the clinic at Downstate on June 5, 2017; and (2) the John Doe correction officer who assisted Sergeant "Bill" in escorting Plaintiff to the clinic at Downstate on June 5, 2017." (Id. at 3). The Order directed that "within thirty days of receiving this information [from the New York Attorney General], Plaintiff must file an amended complaint with the full names of these defendants." (Id.). By letter dated June 8, 2020, the New York Attorney General identified these two John Doe Defendants. (Doc. 10). Plaintiff has not yet filed an amended complaint. Accordingly, the Court sua sponte extends Plaintiff's time to file an amended complaint thirty days.
The amended complaint will replace, not supplement, the original complaint. An amended complaint form for Plaintiff to complete is attached to this Order. Once Plaintiff has filed an amended complaint, the Court will screen the amended complaint and, if necessary, issue an order directing the Clerk of Court to complete the USM-285 forms with the addresses for the named John Doe Defendants and deliver to the U.S. Marshals Service all documents necessary to effect service.
If Plaintiff fails to file an amended complaint within thirty days from the date of this Order, Plaintiff's Complaint may be dismissed.
CONCLUSION
The Court directs the Clerk of Court to mail a copy of this Order as well as the Court's April 9, 2020 Order (Doc. 8) and the New York Attorney General's letter dated June 8, 2020 letter (Doc. 10) to Plaintiff at the address on the docket.
The Court directs Plaintiff to file within thirty days of the date of this Order a request for extension of time to effectuate service on the eight identified Defendants and an amended complaint.

Federal courts are courts of limited jurisdiction (limited power). Generally, only two types of cases can be heard in federal court: cases involving a federal question and cases involving diversity of citizenship of the parties. Under 28 U.S.C. § 1331, a case arising under the United States Constitution or federal laws or treaties is a federal question case. Under 28 U.S.C. § 1332, a case in which a citizen of one State sues a citizen of another State or nation, and the amount in controversy is more than $75,000, is a diversity case. Pro Se (Nonprisoner) Consent to Receive Documents Electronically
