Dominique GREEN, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 226th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2015CR7880
Honorable Sid L. Harle, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Appellant's brief was originally due on December 12, 2016. This Court granted appellant's counsel Debra Parker's extensions of time, allowing a sixty-day extension to February 12, 2017. In our previous order, we cautioned Ms. Parker that no more extensions of time would be allowed. Despite our warning, Ms. Parker again requests an extension of time to file appellant's brief to February 24, 2016.

We ORDER Debra Parker to file appellant's brief on or before February 24, 2016. If appellant's brief is not filed by that date, we will abate this appeal to the trial court for an abandonment hearing. TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(b)(2). Contempt proceedings may also be initiated against Debra Parker. Id. 38.8(b)(4).
