No. 05-09-00761-CR (Tex. App. Mar. 19, 2010)

Opinion

No. 05-09-00761-CR

Opinion Filed March 19, 2010. DO NOT PUBLISH. Tex. R. App. P. 47.

On Appeal from the Truancy Court Dallas County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. TR08-1587-T.

Before Justices O'NEILL, LANG, and MYERS.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Julie Grant was convicted of contributing to the truancy of her son and a fine was assessed. We adopted the trial court's findings that appellant is not indigent, she paid her fine and court costs, and she did not respond to the trial court's letter inquiring about whether she desired to continue her appeal. Based on the findings, we concluded appellant no longer desires to pursue the appeal. Because no clerk's record has been filed, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 37.3(b).
