Gordon v. State

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District
May 30, 1995
657 So. 2d 1186 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1995)

Opinion

No. 93-03532.

May 3, 1995. Rehearing Denied May 30, 1995.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Hillsborough County; Donald C. Evans, Judge.

Carl R. Hayes, Tampa, for appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Atty. Gen., Tallahassee, and Angela D. McCravy, Asst. Atty. Gen., Tampa, for appellee.

A jury found Irvin Bernard Gordon guilty of robbery and battery. We affirm the convictions and sentences. The judgment, however, erroneously reflects that Gordon entered a plea of guilty. We remand this case to the trial court for correction of the judgment to reflect that Gordon was tried by a jury and found guilty of the crimes.

FRANK, C.J., and PARKER and WHATLEY, JJ., concur.
