This case is calendared for trial at the October 23, 2023, Fresno, California, Trial Session of the Court.

On September 22, 2023, respondent filed a Motion for Continuance (motion). The motion states that additional time is needed to obtain documents and records and to negotiate a possible settlement of this case or narrow the issues for trial. Respondent attempted to contact petitioner but was not able to speak with her. Petitioner's views on the granting of this motion are unknown. The Court attempted to contact petitioner but was unsuccessful. Upon due consideration and for cause, it is

ORDERED that respondent's Motion for Continuance is granted, in that, this case is continued. It is further

ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's October 23, 2023, Fresno, California, Trial Session. Petitioner is not expected to appear at the calendar call on Monday, October 23, 2023. It is further

ORDERED that jurisdiction will be retained by the undersigned. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before December 7, 2023, the parties shall file a joint status report informing the Court of the then-present status of the case.
