Jose Alberto GARCIA, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 227th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court Nos. 2018CR13110, 2018CR13111, 2018CR13112, 2018CR13113 Honorable Raymond Angelini, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Liza A. Rodriguez, Justice

On July 10, 2023, the appellee filed a motion to consolidate these appeals. The Court has examined the clerk's records and the appellant's briefs in these appeals and is of the opinion that, in the interest of efficient administration, they should be consolidated for purposes of further briefing and argument. Appellee's motion to consolidate is therefore GRANTED.

We ORDER Nos. 04-22-00700-CR, 04-22-00701-CR, 04-22-705-CR, and 04-22-00706-CR, consolidated for purposes of further briefing and argument. The parties must file motions, briefs, and other pleadings as if the appeals were one, but put all appeal numbers in the style of the case. The cases will be argued together, as in a single appeal, in the appellee's brief and in appellant's reply brief, and if oral argument is requested and granted, the entire case must be argued as a single appeal, with the total time limit for each party equal to the ordinary time limit for a single appeal. The court will dispose of the appeals with the same judgment, opinion, and mandate. This order does not extend the briefing schedule. Appellee's brief is due on or before August 7, 2022.
