Appellants, Graylin Gant, Jay Heichelheim, Stephen Holt, Sherif Saudi, and Charles Braden, have filed an "Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time for Filing Appellants' Brief." The clerk's record was filed with this Court on June 18, 2020. However, a reporter's record has not yet been filed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 34.6. On July 10, 2020, the court reporter for the 212th District Court notified this Court that there is a reporter's record for this case, but that the appellants have not paid or made arrangements to pay for the fee for preparing the record. On July 16, 2020, the Clerk of this Court notified appellants that, unless they submitted written evidence from the court reporter that payment arrangements for the preparation of the reporter's record by August 17, 2020, appellants may be required to file their brief without a reporter's record.
Because the appellate record is not yet complete, appellants' brief is not yet due. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a). Accordingly, we dismiss appellants' motion for an extension to file appellants' brief as moot.
