Friedman v. Friedman

Supreme Court of Connecticut First Judicial District, Hartford, October Term, 1929
Nov 25, 1929
147 A. 907 (Conn. 1929)

Opinion

Argued October 1st, 1929

Decided November 25th, 1929.

ACTION for an accounting and for damages, brought to the Superior Court in Hartford County and tried to the court, Yeomans, J.; judgment for the defendant and appeal by the plaintiff. No error.

James B. Henry, for the appellant (plaintiff).

Aaron Nassau, with whom, on the brief, was Francis P. Rohrmayer, for the appellee (defendant).

This is an action brought by the plaintiff to compel the defendant, his wife, to account for certain sums of money and the proceeds of certain notes which he claims to have delivered to her for safekeeping. The finding disproves his claim that any of these sums or the notes were given to the defendant under circumstances such that she is under a legal liability to account for them. He seeks many corrections in the finding, but none of the changes sought which would have a material bearing upon the question of the defendant's liability can be granted.
