Argued March 1, 1985

Decision released April 16, 1985

Action to recover damages allegedly caused by the defendants' breach of contract in designing and constructing an addition to the plaintiff hospital, brought to the Superior Court in the judicial district of New Haven, where the court, Cretella, J., rendered judgment granting the plaintiff's motion to stay the proceedings pending arbitration, from which the named defendant appealed to this court. Appeal dismissed.

Louis B. Blumenfeld, with whom, on the brief, were Karen J. Casey and Brian S. Carlow, for the appellant (named defendant).

Donn A. Swift, for the appellee (plaintiff).

This is an appeal from an order of the trial court requiring arbitration pursuant to General Statutes 52-409. The order is not a final judgment from which an appeal lies. Schwarzschild v. Martin, 191 Conn. 316, 323-25, 464 A.2d 774 (1983).
