Walter F. Foto & Nicoline E. Foto Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

David Gustafson Judge

This case was previously scheduled for a trial at a Seattle session beginning May 18, 2020, which was assigned to the judge signing this order. After the coronavirus pandemic prompted the cancellation of that trial session, our order of June 18, 2020 (Doc. 12), required the filing of periodic status reports by the parties. They have complied with that order. Although the case is not yet ready for trial, it appears from the most recent report (Doc. 22) that substantial progress has been made, and we conclude that the most expedient course is to continue the case generally so that relatively soon it can be scheduled for trial at a regular Seattle session. It is therefore

ORDERED that the requirement of periodic status reports imposed by our order of June 18, 2020, is hereby vacated. An alternative schedule for further filings will be set in a forthcoming Standing Pretrial Order. It is further

ORDERED that this case is continued generally, to be tried at a future trial session.
