MEMORANDUM OPINION

Richard John Florance, Jr. was convicted in the Justice of the Peace Court of having the wrong registration insignia. He filed his notice of appeal with this Court on September 26, 2008. Appeals from the Justice of the Peace Courts are to be made to the County Court. See Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Ann. arts. 4.08, 45.042(a) (Vernon 2005 2006); Tex. Gov't Code Ann. §§ 25.0003(a); 26.046 (Vernon 2004 Supp. 2008). This Court has no jurisdiction over an appeal taken directly from a justice court. See State v. Alley, 158 S.W.3d 485, 488 (Tex.Crim.App. 2005). We dismiss the appeal for want of jurisdiction.
