PEDRO FIGUEROA, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 195th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause Nos. F13-54250-N, F13-54929-N

ORDER

The Court REINSTATES the appeals.

On January 29, 2016, we ordered the trial court to make findings regarding why appellant's brief has not been filed. We ADOPT the findings that: (1) appellant desires to pursue the appeals; (2) appellant is indigent and represented by court-appointed counsel Julie Woods; (3) Ms. Woods previously requested a sixty-day extension of time to file the brief, but was granted a thirty-day extension; and (4) due to her workload, Ms. Woods requested thirty additional days from the February 1, 2016 findings to file appellant's brief.

We ORDER appellant to file his brief by MARCH 2, 2016. No further extensions will be granted absent a showing of extraordinary circumstances.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to counsel for all parties.
