MEMORANDUM OPINION

Kevin Earl Scott has filed in this court a motion to dismiss this appeal. In the motion, Scott states that he does "not want to waste the resources of this court," and he requests that this court dismiss this appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.1(a)(1).

The motion to dismiss is granted, and the appeal is dismissed. January 31, 2018
