On July 19, 2016, we abated this case, remanded to the trial court, and directed the trial court to clarify its findings of fact and conclusions of law in this proceeding. The court reporter has filed a reporter's record of the August 18, 2016 abatement hearing. And, the exhibits included in the reporter's record include the trial court's findings of fact on abatement, signed on August 18, 2016. Accordingly, we REINSTATE this case on the Court's active docket.
Appellant, Felix Ibarra, has filed a motion for leave to file a supplemental brief and submitted "Appellant's Supplemental Brief." The motion is granted and "Appellant's Supplemental Brief" is filed.
Appellee's brief is due to be filed within 20 days of the date this order. See TEX. R. APP. P. 31.1; Cf. TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(b).
