From the 379th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2004CR3638
Honorable Ron Rangel, Judge Presiding

ORDER

This is an accelerated appeal of the trial court's order denying appellant's application for writ of habeas corpus seeking relief from double jeopardy. The appellate record was complete on September 18, 2017, making appellant's brief due on October 9, 2017. On September 22, 2017, appellant filed an unopposed motion requesting a seventy-five day extension of time to file the brief. The motion is GRANTED IN PART. Appellant's brief must be filed no later than December 8, 2017. Given the length of this first extension of time in this accelerated appeal , further requests for extensions of time will be disfavored .
