The trial court denied Appellant Alvarez Contreras's application for writ of habeas corpus on March 11, 2023; Appellant's notice of appeal was due to be filed by April 11, 2023. See TEX. R. APP. P. 26.2(a)(1). On April 25, 2023, appellate counsel filed the notice of appeal with a motion for extension of time.
Appellant's motion for extension of time to file the notice of appeal is granted; Appellant's notice of appeal is deemed timely filed. See id. R. 26.3.
