JASON ELFARR, APPELLANT v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, APPELLEE

APPEALED FROM COUNTY COURT IN AND FOR ANDERSON COUNTY, TEXAS

ORDER

In May 2018, the justice court found Jason Elfarr "guilty" of speeding. Appellant appealed to county court. The jury signed a "guilty" verdict in cause number 65100A, which was filed on July 23, 2019, but the clerk's record contains no judgment of conviction.

Under Rule 25.2(a)(2), there must be "a judgment of guilt or other appealable order." Gutierrez v. State , 307 S.W.3d 318, 321 (Tex. Crim. App. 2010).

Accordingly,

It is ORDERED that this appeal is remanded to the trial court for entry of a signed, written judgment.

It is FURTHER ORDERED that a supplemental clerk's record including the trial court's judgment be certified to this Court, no later than December 12, 2019.

GIVEN UNDER MY HAND AND SEAL OF SAID COURT, at my office this the 27th day of November 2019, A.D.
