Duplantis v. State Farm Fire & Casualty Co, et al.
Dear Mr. Duplantis:
Please find enclosed an order that was issued today in your case by Magistrate Judge Kathleen Kay. As you can see from the enclosure, there is a hearing set for April 26, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 2 of the Lake Charles Division of the Western District of Louisiana. We are located at 611 Broad Street, Lake Charles.
As you can see from the enclosure, Judge Kay has ordered that you personally be present for the hearing. Normally your attorneys would notify you of your need to appear. In this case, however, your attorneys are suspended from practice in our court. You should have received a letter from Cade R. Cole who is the Deputy Special Master for the court advising you of that fact.
Judge Kay asked that we send this order to you by regular mail to be sure you know to be here on April 26.
