On October 6, 2023, Appellees David Melanson, Denise Robbins, Eddie M. Krenek, and Tricia Krenek filed a Motion to Dismiss Appeal for Lack of Jurisdiction. On October 24, 2023, Appellant Diogu Kalu Diogu II filed a Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to [] Appellee[s'] Motion to Dismiss the Appeal for Lack of Jurisdiction, requesting that his jurisdictional response be due on November 14, 2023, which he argues is also the due date of his Appellant's brief. Appellees filed opposition to Appellant's Motion for Extension.
We grant Appellant's request for an extension of time to file his response to Appellees' Motion to Dismiss. Appellant's response to Appellees' Motion to Dismiss is due November 14, 2023. No further extensions will be granted.
Separately, Appellant's brief on the merits is currently due November 10, 2023. We grant an extension of time to file the appellate brief to December 18, 2023.
