MEMORANDUM OPINION
On August 15, 2003 a notice of appeal was filed by the defendant with the trial court in cause number 05-08115-D styled BCI Secure Equity Funds v. Frank Dwain Dees. The notice of appeal was signed by Rocco Henry Dees. The notice does not include a State Bar of Texas license number for Rocco Dees. By letter dated August 21, 2003, the Court notified Frank Dees and Rocco Dees that the notice of appeal was defective because it was not signed by the party appealing or an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Texas and does not contain a certificate of service. The letter directed appellant to file an amended notice of appeal within ten days of the date of the letter. The letter warned appellant that failure to do so would result in dismissal of the appeal. By letters dated August 19, 2003, the Court directed appellant to pay the $125 filing fee and file a docketing statement in this appeal. The letters warned appellant that failure to comply within ten days of the date of the letters would result in dismissal of the appeal. To date, appellant has not filed an amended notice of appeal, paid the filing fee, or filed a docketing statement. Accordingly, the Court DISMISSES the appeal for want of prosecution. Tex.R.App.P. 42.3
