RICHARD JOSEPH DEAGUERO, Appellant v. COMMISSION FOR LAWYER DISCIPLINE, Appellee

On Appeal from the 193rd Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. DC-21-14471

ORDER

BILL PEDERSEN, III JUSTICE

Appellant's opening brief is currently due on August 7, 2023. Before the Court is appellant's July 31, 2023 third motion requesting a thirty-day extension of time to file his opening brief. In his motion, appellant states the extension is needed in order that he can pay for and obtain the reporter's record. The reporter's record was filed on May 30, 2023 and appellant came to the Court and picked up a CD copy of both the clerk's and reporter's records on July 25, 2023. Accordingly, we GRANT appellant's motion ONLY TO THE EXTENT that we extend the deadline to August 17, 2023. We caution appellant that no further extension will be granted absent exigent circumstances.
