ORDER
Before the Court is appellant's January 16, 2018 letter which we shall construe as a motion for extension of time to file his brief. We GRANT appellant's motion and ORDER his brief due no later than February 2, 2018. If appellant's brief is not filed by that date, the Court will abate this case for findings in accordance with rule 38.8. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(b)(2).
