MEMORANDUM OPINION


The parties' February 24, 2003 joint motion to dismiss appeals, vacate judgment, and dismiss case is GRANTED IN PART. We VACATE the trial court's September 6, 2002 amended final judgment. This appeal is DISMISSED with prejudice. See Tex.R.App.P. 42.1(a)(2)(A), 43.2(e). Each party shall bear her or its own costs. The obligations of appellant, as principal, and of Carolina Casualty Insurance Company and Gulf Insurance Company, as sureties, on appellant's supersedeas bonds are DISCHARGED. The parties' request that the supersedeas bonds be released to counsel for appellant is DENIED.
