Opinion

No. 85646

01-19-2023

Dama COX, a/k/a Dama Larman, Appellant, v. Stephen SUMMERBELL, Respondent.

ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This appeal was docketed on November 15, 2022, without payment of the requisite filing fee. See NRAP 3(e). That same day, this court issued a notice directing appellant to pay the required filing fee or demonstrate compliance with NRAP 24 within 14 days. The notice advised that failure to comply would result in the dismissal of this appeal.

On November 17, 2022, the district court filed in this court a copy of an order denying appellant's application to proceed on appeal in forma pauperis. On December 14, 2022, this court entered an order directing appellant to pay the filing fee or file a motion to proceed in forma pauperis with this court within 30 days. That order cautioned appellant that failure to comply would result in the dismissal of this appeal. To date, appellant has not paid the filing fee or otherwise responded to this court's December 14, 2022, order. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. See NRAP 3(a)(2).

It is so ORDERED.
