MEMORANDUM OPINION


Appellant's brief was due by June 7, 2008. By letter dated July 9, 2008, we directed appellant to file his brief within ten days. By letter dated August 20, 2008, we again directed appellant to file his brief within ten days or the appeal would be dismissed. Nevertheless, to date, appellant has not filed a brief or otherwise communicated with the Court regarding this appeal.

Accordingly, we DISMISS the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b).
