LC No. 18-000804-CB; 18-000859-CB; 18-000979-CB

Christopher P. Yates Presiding Judge David H. Sawyer Douglas B. Shapiro Judges

ORDER

The motion for immediate consideration is GRANTED.

In lieu of granting the application for leave to appeal, the motion for peremptory reversal is GRANTED, MCR 7.211(C)(4), and the September 25, 2022 order of the Washtenaw Circuit Court granting Gypsum Supply Company the authority to "take immediate steps to collect on the judgment" is VACATED. The trial court's order violates the clear language of MCR 2.614(A)(1), and the trial court cited no legally-recognized exception to this rule. This order has immediate effect. MCR 7.215(F)(2).

This matter is REMANDED. We do not retain jurisdiction.
