OrderPer Curiam

We issued a memorandum opinion in appellate cause number 13-13-00088-CV, on May 29, 2014 reversing and rendering judgment in favor of appellant, the City of Corpus Christi, Texas. City of Corpus Christi v. City of Ingleside, No. 13-13-00088-CV, 2014 WL 7403974, at *1 (Tex. App.—Corpus Christi May 29, 2014), rev'd, 469 S.W.3d 589, 593 (Tex. 2015). Appellee, the City of Ingleside, Texas appealed our decision to the Texas Supreme Court, and on July 24, 2015, it reversed our decision and remanded the case to this Court for review of the other issues presented in the brief. See City of Ingleside, 469 S.W.3d at 593. On May 12, 2016, this Court issued its opinion in appellate cause number 13-14-00293-CV, a case wherein the parties appear to be disputing the same boundary at issue in appellate cause number 13-13-00088-CV. See San Patricio County, Tex. v. Nueces County, Tex. and Nueces County Appraisal Dist., 492 S.W.3d 476, 485 (Tex. App.—Corpus Christi 2016, pet. filed); City of Corpus Christi, 2014 WL 7403974, at *.

Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.7 provides that "[a] brief may be amended or supplemented whenever justice requires, on whatever reasonable terms the court may prescribe." TEX. R. APP. P. 38.7. Given the dimension of the issues raised in this case, the Court has determined that additional briefing is necessary. Accordingly, the Court hereby requests supplemental briefing from the parties regarding the effect, if any, of San Patricio County, Texas v. Nueces County, Texas and Nueces County Appraisal District, on this case. Appellant's supplemental brief shall be filed within twenty-one days from the date of this order, and appellee's supplemental brief, if any, shall be filed within fourteen days thereafter. We ABATE this cause, and it is removed from the Court's active docket until further notice of this Court.

PER CURIAM Delivered and filed this 28th day of September, 2016.
