ORDER

On November 16, 2022, a video status conference with the Court and the parties was held. Present was petitioner Emilio Cerejo who advised the Court of his intent to retain new legal counsel in a matter of weeks. Also Mr. Cerejo advised the Court that his son, Dr. Cerejo, has agreed to serve as a "next friend" for petitioner Dawn Cerejo under Tax Court Rule 60(d). At the end of the status conference, it was agreed that the Court and parties, through their respective counsel, should speak again in approximately 30 days.

Considering the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that a video status conference (via Teams) with the Court and the parties herein is set for December 16, 2022, at 1:00p.m. (EST) to discuss the status of this case. The Court will separately furnish the parties' dial-in information for the Teams status conference, and if counsel or the parties are unavailable at this scheduled time, the parties are to notify Chambers as soon as possible. The parties are encouraged to confer in advance of the status call and be prepared to discuss whether trial is necessary in this matter.
