ORDER

This case is currently set for a Special Trial Session of the Court commencing on June 6, 2022, in Miami, Florida. On March 24, 2022, counsel for petitioner Emilio Cerejo filed an Unopposed Motion to Stay Proceedings pursuant to Tax Court Rules 133 and 25(c). Mr. Cerejo's counsel asks for a 90-day stay of this matter to allow Mr. Cerejo to recover from post-Covid-19 syndrome (including lingering pneumonia) and a recent diagnosis of hereditary hemochromatosis. The Court held a conference call with the parties on March 25, 2022, to discuss the motion and possible rescheduling of the currently calendared Special Session in this matter.

Upon due consideration and for cause, it is ORDERED that petitioner's Motion for Stay Proceedings is granted. It is further

ORDERED that this case is stricken for trial from the Court's Special Session beginning on June 6, 2022, in Miami, Florida and is continued. It is further

ORDERED that the undersigned retains jurisdiction over this case. It it further

ORDERED that the parties shall, on or before June 22, 2022, file a joint report (or separate reports, if preferred) regarding the status of this case.
