This case was continued from the Court's June 12, 2023, Los Angeles, California trial session and jurisdiction was retained by the undersigned.

On January 8, 2024, the Commissioner filed a status report indicating that the petitioner Jesus Carpio is still trying to obtain documentation pertaining to independent contractor expenses and that the parties remain hopeful that they will reach a basis for settlement. Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that, on or before February 9, 2024, the parties shall file a proposed stipulated decision or a joint status report (or separate reports, if that is more expedient) as to the then-present status of this case.
