ORDER OF AFFIRMANCE

This is an appeal from a juvenile court order certifying appellant Carl S. to stand trial as an adult for one count of trafficking in a controlled substance on the grounds of a public school. Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Court Division, Clark County; William O. Voy, Judge.

Carl contends that the juvenile court abused its discretion in certifying him because it did not give his psychiatric evaluation and the recommendations therein the “proper weight” and treatment in the juvenile system would have better served public safety. We disagree.

The juvenile court enjoys broad discretion in making certification decisions in accordance with the decisional matrix announced in In the Matter of Seven Minors, 99 Nev. 427, 434–35, 664 P.2d 947, 952–53 (1983), disapproved of on other grounds by Matter of William S., 122 Nev. 432, 442 n. 23, 132 P.3d 1015, 1021 n. 23 (2006). Matter of Eric L., 123 Nev. 26, 33, 153 P.3d 32, 36 (2007). The juvenile court properly considered the nature and seriousness of the charged offense, Carl's prior adjudication, and the subjective factors, including the psychiatric report, see Seven Minors, 99 Nev. at 434–35, 664 P.2d at 952, and determined that public safety would be best served by transferring Carl to the adult system, see id. at 434, 664 P.2d at 952. And Carl has cited no authority requiring the juvenile court to give any prescribed amount of weight to the subjective factors. We conclude that Carl has failed to demonstrate that the juvenile court abused its discretion, and we

ORDER the judgment of the juvenile court AFFIRMED.
