August 16, 2006.

Michael W. Modica, Esquire, Wilmington, DE.

Dear Mr. Modica:

I have had the opportunity to consider your Motion for Modification of Sentence filed on behalf of Ms. Campanese. Also, I have reviewed her files and the TASC reports and recommendations. Her medical problems were known at the time of sentencing. The problem that Ms. Campanese has is that she has a long running history of abusing prescription drugs and her method of obtaining same and/or supporting herself. She is in the Village program and that is the best program the Court has available for a person that has severe addiction problems.

I am satisfied that the sentence imposed is reasonable and I am also satisfied that if there are any problems with the implementation of sentence, the Department of Correction will make me aware of same as they have done in the past concerning other cases.

Defendant's Motion for Modification of Sentence the February 7, 2006 sentence is denied.

IT IS SO ORDERED.

Yours very truly,

T. Henley Graves
