Appellant's brief was originally due on October 2, 2015. After allowing appellant to correct her noncompliant motion for extension filed on November 6, 2015, this court granted the motion and set the due date for appellant's brief as December 21, 2015. On January 5, 2016, we notified appellant that her brief had not been filed as required by Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.6(a), and we warned her that we would dismiss her appeal for want of prosecution if she failed to file a motion reasonably explaining the failure to file a brief. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a), 38.8(a). Appellant filed a second motion for extension of time to file her brief, which this court granted, giving appellant until March 28, 2016 to file her appellant's brief, and we stated that no further extensions should be necessary.
Appellant again failed to file a brief, so we sent her another letter warning her that the appeal would be dismissed if she did not file a brief that was fully compliant with the rules of appellate procedure and this court's local rules, and a motion reasonably explaining the failure to file a brief, on or before April 23, 2016. She did not do so. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a), 42.3(b), (c), 43.2(f).
Appellant shall pay all costs of this appeal, for which let execution issue.
