BRENT W. YOUNG, CARTER FREEMAN, IRB VENTURE, L.P. D/B/A THE FREEMAN AGENCY, AND K.I.R. MANAGEMENT, INC., Appellants/Cross-Appellees v. MICHAEL W. STEPHEN, L.L.C., THE TEXAS INSURANCE NETWORK D/B/A CORE BENEFITS, AND CORE BENEFIT SERVICES, INC., Appellees/Cross-Appellants

On Appeal from the 333rd District Court Harris County, Texas
Trial Court Case No. 2011-50610

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Both appellants and cross-appellants have failed to timely file a brief in this appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a) (governing time to file brief); TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a) (governing failure of appellant to file brief). After being notified that this appeal was subject to dismissal, appellant Brent W. Young responded that he did not intent to file a brief because the parties reached a settlement. The remaining appellants and cross-appellants did not respond. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3(b) (allowing involuntary dismissal of case). We dismiss any pending motions as moot.

PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Massengale, Brown, and Huddle.
