In Re: Kathleen M. Wilson, applying for supervisory writs, The Family Court-Divison C, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 165,566.
BEFORE: WHIPPLE, C.J., GUIDRY AND HIGGINBOTHAM, JJ.
WRIT GRANTED WITH ORDER: The court's March 26, 2013 judgment, memorializing the judgment rendered on March 5, 2013 and sanctioning Kathleen Wilson under La. C.C.P. art. 863 is an appealable judgment. La. C.C.P. art. 1915A{6). Therefore, the application is granted for the limited purpose of remanding the matter to the Family Court of East Baton Rouge with instructions to grant Ms. Wilson an appeal pursuant to the March 21, 2013 pleading notifying the court of her intention to seek writs. See In re Howard, 541 So.2d 195 (La. 1989) (per curiam). However, we note that there is no order for appeal; therefore, in the event relator seeks to appeal the family court's judgment, she shall submit an order for appeal to that court within thirty days of this Court's order. A copy of this Court's action is to be included in the appellate record.
