ADRIAN BOOKER AND NICOLE SMITH, Appellants v. ANISSA MAHMOUDI, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 3 Collin County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 003-01795-2018

ORDER

By order dated April 8, 2020, we denied appellants' motion seeking to hold the court reporter in contempt and to impose sanctions against her for failure to file the reporter's record for a hearing conducted on August 30, 2018. Before the Court is appellants' April 9, 2020 motion to reconsider this Court's April 8th order.

Appellants explain in their motion that there were two hearings conducted on August 30, 2018 and the hearing conducted in Auxiliary Court C on their second recusal motion has not been filed. Accordingly, we GRANT appellants' motion only to the extent that we ORDER Claudia Webb, Official Court Reporter for County Court at Law No. 3, to provide, by April 20, 2020, written verification of whether the recusal hearing conducted in Auxiliary Court C on August 30, 2018 was recorded and, if so, the name of the court reporter who recorded that hearing.

We DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to send a copy of this order to Ms. Webb and all parties.

CHIEF JUSTICE
