An appeal having been taken to this Court from an order of the Supreme Court, New York County, entered on or about September 19, 2023, and said appeal having been perfected, And proposed amici curiae New York City Correction Captains Association, Uniformed EMTs, Paramedics and Fire Inspectors FDNY, Local 2507, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, the International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots, AFL-CIO, United Association of Plumbers Local 1, and Local Union 924, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO (the "Unions"), having moved for leave to file a brief amicus curiae in connection with the aforesaid appeal (Motion No. 2024-00392), And proposed amicus curiae Dr. Donald Berwick, MD, MPP, FRCP, having moved for leave to file a brief amicus curiae in connection with the aforesaid appeal (Motion No. 2024-00401),

And proposed amici curiae Physicians for a National Health Program-New York Metro having moved for leave to file a brief amicus curiae in connection with the aforesaid appeal (Motion No. 2024-00408), Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motions, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the motions are granted, and movants are directed to serve one copy of its brief, in the form submitted with the moving papers, upon all parties to the appeal, and to electronically file its brief with this Court via NYSCEF, within 15 days of the entry of this order.
