ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This is a proper person appeal from a decision of the district court denying a pretrial petition for a writ of habeas corpus and various pretrial motions. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; David B. Barker, Judge.

Our review of this appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. No appeal lies from an order denying a pretrial petition for a writ of habeas corpus. Gary v. Sheriff, 96 Nev. 78, 605 P.2d 212 (1980). Further, the district court has final appellate jurisdiction over a case arising in the municipal court. Nev. Const. art. 6, § 6 ; Tripp v. The City of Sparks, 92 Nev. 362, 363, 550 P.2d 419, 419 (1976) ; NRS 5.073(1) ; NRS 266.595. Accordingly, we conclude that we lack jurisdiction to consider this appeal, and we

ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.
