ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

This case is calendared for trial June 13, 2022, at the Shreveport, Louisiana remote Trial Session of the Court. On May 23, 2022, respondent filed a Motion for Entry of Decision for tax year 2018 for the amount reflected on the notice of deficiency. After due consideration, it is

ORDERED that this Order to Show Cause and the respondent's Motion for Entry of Decision is set for Hearing at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Shreveport, Louisiana trial session commencing on June 13, 2022. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before June 13, 2022, petitioner shall file a written response to this Order showing cause why a decision should not be entered against petitioner for the amount and year set forth in respondent's above-referenced motion. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before June 13, 2022, respondent shall file a status report. Respondent's report shall (1) state attempts to serve petitioner with above-referenced motion by personal service; and (2) attach a copy of a signature confirmation, return receipt, or other delivery confirmation from petitioner.

Petitioner is reminded that failure to comply with this Order showing cause with this Court why respondent's motion should not be entered against petitioner, and said failure could result in a decision being entered in the amount and year set forth in respondent's above-referenced motion.
